If there’s one thing I love, it’s homemade granola. But peanut butter flavored homemade granola?! SOLD!
Only 7 ingredients and ready in 30 minutes. Not to mention, homemade granola:
- Is a fraction of the cost of store bought. It kills me when I see a bag at the store for $8-10. Seriously?
- Typically contains less sugar (not to mention no preservatives or ingredients you wouldn’t normally use in your kitchen)
- Is soo delicious! I’m telling you. This combination does not disappoint!

Served this granola PB&J style with dairy free yogurt, homemade raspberry chia jam and lots of extra peanut butter on top. I also love using this on top of smoothies and oatmeal. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- Dry ingredients
- 2.5 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Wet ingredients
- 3 Tb coconut oil
- 3 Tb maple syrup
- 3 Tb creamy peanut butter (I like brands that use peanuts as the only ingredient!)
- Optional: 1 egg white, lightly beaten with a fork
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients.
- In a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave, warm wet ingredients and stir to combine.
- Pour wet ingredients over dry. Mix till all oats and are coated.
- Optional: If you like granola with extra clumps, stir the beaten egg white into the granola mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread out granola in an even layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool completely (it will get crunchy as it cools). Store in a sealed container for up to a month.
